The Art of Influence

Getting people to do what you want them to do even when you don’t have all of the power

In this training session, we look at a set of strategies and techniques used by highly effective leaders in business, education and nonprofits that influence followers to choose the right path and make the right decisions. We emphasize using new strategies for communication, leadership qualities, leveraging time and efforts, more effective planning and better decision-making strategies.

Participants are encouraged to ask questions throughout the session. Actual cases and problems are presented and copies of all research results, assessment tools and management strategies are distributed to participants. Participants will learn:

  • Research regarding the art of influence and communication
  • Understanding of organizational priorities
  • Methods to improve communication
  • A differentiated leadership model
  • How to personally apply the new leadership model
  • Best practices of effective meetings and decision-making
  • Best practices of more effective delegation and accountability
  • How to use project management and accountability strategies
